Dr. Holmboe is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his residency and chief residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at Yale University.

The Intealth CEO search was co-chaired by Craig Brater, MD, President of the Regenstrief Foundation and Vice President for Programs of the Walther Cancer Foundation, and Anne Marie Irani, MD, Professor Emerita of Pediatrics of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. “Dr. Holmboe’s demonstrated leadership in advancing health professions education in both domestic and international contexts is critical to Intealth’s continued success,” noted Dr. Brater. “His deep appreciation for the power and impact of global collaboration and local partnerships is fundamental to Intealth’s approach,” continued Dr. Irani.

Reflecting on the highly competitive nature of this national search, Dr. Buckley said, “Thank you to Drs. Brater and Irani and to the entire search committee for the stellar effort. The Intealth leadership team did a great job in representing all that is extraordinary about Intealth. Finally, sincere thanks go to Dr. William Pinsky for his vision and the strong foundation from which Intealth will continue its transformation.”
